Join us on 120th Street in Harlem for Weaving Dialogue: Vessels of Memory, in collaboration with Marcus Meets Malcolm (@120thmmm).
Spend an afternoon connecting with neighbors, sharing stories, and creating your own woven vessel—with music by @dj_byron_james setting the mood. Bring your curiosity and discover how fabric can hold memories, spark conversation, and become something meaningful.
No weaving experience needed—all materials are provided!
Want to add a personal touch? You’re welcome to bring a cotton T-shirt or shirt, linen fabric, or a meaningful garment that belonged to a loved one. Choose something you’re comfortable cutting and weaving into your vessel, giving its story a new form.

Whether you are an avid reader, joining a book club for the first time, or simply interested in connecting with others, you are warmly welcomed.
Read the book in advance and come prepared to share—or join us to listen, learn, and enjoy the discussion. All viewpoints are valued, and everyone is encouraged to participate.
