Higher Learning Cannabis Forum
In collaboration with Manhattan Community Board 10, Marcus Meets Malcolm is co- hosting the Higher Learning Cannabis Forum on Saturday, April 23 from 12-3 pm. The aim of the event is to share information and facilitate discussions about the legal, health and socio-economic issues raised by the history and recent changes to cannabis laws in New York.
We are expecting a big crowd. There will be no parking for a large portion of the street from 6am to 6 pm on Saturday. No parking signs have been placed at designated places on the block.

Earth Day Discussion
Earth Day, April 22 - Let's talk about the climate crisis and reasons to be hopeful. Q&A with our very own climate change expert, Celine Ruben-Salama, Friday at 5:30 pm.

Black History Month - a celebration
Join us for our continuing celebration of Black History Month. We will have food and drink, a drummers’ circle, spoken word performances and a libation ceremony. All welcome!

Dr Martin Luther King Day
4pm: Live performances, refreshments, hot drinks and a special dedication to Dr Martin Luther King, Jr.
5pm: Dinner & Movie. Watch the film “Our Friend, Martin” on the big screen from the comfort of a warm bus. Admission to the bus will be on a first come basis and with a can of food donated for a food drive supporting our local community. MASKS REQUIRED ON THE BUS.

New Year Celebration
Come out and celebrate 2022 with your neighbors tonight 10 pm- 12:30 pm. Dance, sing and karaoke; sip a little something (please bring your own).
Please wear your mask when not sipping (YES, we are back to that). Hope to see you all there!





Holiday Sunday Supper
Join us on Sunday at 5pm to share food and spend time together. This week we celebrate the efforts of those running the marathon with Indian food in celebration of Diwali Festival of Lights. Everyone is welcome. If you can bring a dish to share we always appreciate it.
